![]() ![]() Rubber banding is a big issue even if you do well too. ![]() The balance for that feels off and so most of the harder challenges when you face off against Magnus Walker or Ken Block are hit or miss in terms of performance. Depending on the car or track, you can drive and feel like a pro while other times you can crash and fail every corner. With the night time you can disguise a lot of patches in the game's quality and that's what they did flawlessly. There's only small segments with any sunlight, probably to hide some graphical mess ups. What we got on release was satisfying enough. Need for Speed, the first game in the franchise that used a two year gap for each installment because of the new generation software for the time showed some insane promise with it's night time underground feel of the teasers and trailers. ![]()
